The founder, Vivek focuses on enabling organizations drive the right balance between people practices and business outcomes. Vivek’s experience comes from a diverse set of hats he has donned during his career. Starting off as a globe-trotting marine engineer, to working on building and developing software products, and eventually globally heading the people practice of a healthcare IT solutions firm, he has stayed true to his core of finding simple solutions to his customer’s unique needs.



Hamsa Kannan co-founded Above N Beyond with a focus on a simple, common sense and hands on approach. She combines her expertise in research, analytics and business processes to create contextual solutions. A core focus of her work has been on aligning leaders and driving the needed business outcomes. In her career spanning over a 15 years, she has worked with teams to successfully manage change, build culture and manage talent to suit the rapid changes in business. Before starting Above N Beyond, she worked with Holiday IQ and Aon Hewitt.



Applying an academic career in economics and management to a professional career of social, skill and people development, Karishma brings a decidedly anthropological approach to problem solving. With a background in project management and people management engagements that span NGOs, start-ups and corporate partnerships, Karishma offers a keen understanding of the strengths of different organizational structures. This unique blend of field and management experience has given her the opportunity to cut across global and local geographies, including USA, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. Most recently Karishma focused on training enhancement and research aspects of the national Skill India mandate while at NASSCOM.


Ekta Poddar has close to 15 years of experience, spanning talent and organization consulting roles. She specializes in organization design, culture building and talent development. As a consultant, she works with organizations in the culture building and HR design space, and has led significant accounts, managing multi-year projects in various global geographies. Her clients have included various Fortune 500 companies, MNCs and Indian conglomerates and PSUs across sectors of BFSI, telecom, FMCG, automotive, retail, and high-tech. She is also an expert assessor and coach. She has been employed with with organizations like Aon Hewitt, Accenture, Infosys, Oxfam and Coca-Cola. Ekta is a gold medalist (PM&IR) from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Subbalakshmi Kasivishwanathan


An accomplished management professional with over 20 years of experience, Subba specializes in Business Coaching & Mentoring, Consulting and Management, Process Transformation, Relationship and people management, strategic planning, business-expansion, transformation & transition. As a business leader, she has managed large P&L units. She has directly managed large teams across different sectors (Technical, Financial & Telecom) and geographies. As an executive coach, she has coached many entrepreneurs, and aspiring entrepreneurs, by helping them create business models, end-to-end processes. Her unique approach based on NLP methodology also helps them learn the process of managing/prioritizing their actions. Subba is a PGCBM from XLRI, a certified Green Belt & Green Belt Champion and a certified coach from NLP training institute



Debojit Dam brings a deep understanding of strategic human resource initiatives across the entire value chain of the People function. Debojit has spent the majority of his professional career with consulting firms such as Right Management and Aon where he supported clients across varied industries like healthcare & life sciences to aviation, and from IT services to manufacturing. While Debojit has supported and managed client interventions in the areas of organization structures, talent development and assessment, he has a specialized understanding of the Rewards and Performance verticals in particular, which he has supported and led in organizations like Flipkart, Swiggy and PayPal.



Ritesh Kaul is a multi faceted professional who works with a very hand-on, practical and contextual approach to scale organizations. His ability to balance the and assessment with the near term, solve complex problems and the unique capability to spot risks early has helped him grow organizations seamlessly. With over 20 years of experience  in setting up and managing IT delivery operations, Ritesh brings significant expertise in Delivery Management; Practice Management; Center of Excellence – Domain / Technical and Customer Solution Management. Prior to his association with Above N Beyond, Ritesh has worked for Infosys and emids Technologies (as Head-Delivery, Delivery Assurance and Customer Solutions Head).


Leadership Coach and Organisational consultant

Hari is a passionate leadership coach and organisational consultant who has worked with CXOs in a variety of industries. Apart from Coaching, Hari has facilitated many experiential Leadership and Team Development programs. Hari holds a post-graduate degree in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. He is also a certified CEO Coach. With over 30 years of experience, Hari brings an in depth understanding of both business and human behavior as well as human process sensitivity, to his work as an Organisational Consultant, Facilitator and Leadership Coach.


Ranjeet is a subject matter expert in topics like corporate strategy, equity valuation, financial structuring and financial statement analysis. Ranjeet also has significant experience in teaching, training and leadership development. He is involved in creating and delivering a light-weight Business Management program targeted at Rural Business Enterprises. He holds an MBA in Finance & Economics from New York University’s Stern School of Business Management and degrees in Electrical Engineering from BITS, Pilani and IIT, Bombay.
